As hurricane Irene has now hit land fall in the Carolina's, we here in the North East are bracing for the hit tonight and on into tomorrow. I'm just hoping all of you fellow Bloggers on the East coast weather the storm fine and are able to avoid any major issues.
Be Safe.
You stay safe, too. I'm thinking y'all will be fine. Cat.1 isn't very bad. You get worse than that in a Nor'easter and blizzards. If it's a really wet 'caine flooding could be a real problem.
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts to you and yours!
Thanks for the well wishes - it's bearing down on me as we speak. :-) Be safe!
ReplyDeleteHope you made it through without any damage and that your family is okay.
ReplyDeleteWe did stay out of the hard stuff up here. It was a tropical storm by the time it hit New England so the gust stayed under 80 mph. We still have a lot of downed trees and power lines. I lost power for about 7 hours, but as of this morning there are still a half million people in MA without it.
ReplyDeleteI hope those to the south fared just as well because they got the brunt of it.
